TRENTON – New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJ MVC) customers are advised that all MVC facilities will be closed Friday, April 2, in observance of the Good Friday holiday.
This includes:
- Licensing and Vehicle Centers
- Regional Service Centers
- Road testing sites
- Inspection stations
All MVC facilities will be open for regular operating hours the rest of the week, including on Saturday, April 3 (unless closed due to COVID-19).

Over 75% of transactions are now available online, while nearly all in-person transactions at MVC agencies require an appointment that must be scheduled at the website.
