Proposed Readoption of Autobus Rules with Amendments

 The Motor Vehicle Commission has proposed to readopt with amendments regulations pertaining to autobuses.  The rules that are the subject of this proposed readoption with amendments set forth equipment, insurance, inspection, and maintenance standards relating to various types of autobuses.    

The Motor Vehicle Commission’s regulatory proposal was published in the September 17, 2007 issue of the New Jersey Register.  Copies of the regulatory proposal may be obtained by mail or in person from the Motor Vehicle Commission, 225 East State Street, 9th Floor – East Wing, P.O. Box 162, Trenton, New Jersey 08666-0162; or by telephone at (609) 777-1407. 

The public has until November 16, 2007 to submit comments with regard to the Motor Vehicle Commission’s regulatory proposal.  Comments should be directed to: Steven E.
