Proposed Rule Amendments -- Licensing Service

The Motor Vehicle Commission has proposed an amendment to its Licensing Service regulations to amend certain provisions regarding interpreter qualifications, interpreter availability for the oral law-knowledge test, securing of interpreters and payment, and the interpreter provisions for the road test.  The Commission’s proposal was published in the December 4, 2017 issue of the New Jersey Register.

Copies of the regulatory proposal and new rule may be obtained on the MVC website, njmvc.gov. Copies may also be obtained by mail or in person from the Motor Vehicle Commission, 225 East State Street, 9th Floor – East Wing, P.O. Box 162, Trenton, NJ 08666-0162; or by telephone at (609) 777-1407.
