Man Recovered in the Delaware River Identified
NJSP Requesting Public Help
Camden, N.J. - On Saturday, February 8, 2014, troopers from the New Jersey State Police, Burlington Marine Station responded to the Camden City Aquarium after an employee discovered a male floating in the water behind the aquarium. Camden County Fire Department personnel recovered the body and removed it from the water.
The victim has been identified as David Opoku, 27 years old. Mr. Opoku was known to frequent Camden City, Camden County, and Trenton City, Mercer County.
The New Jersey State Police, Major Crimes Unit, are asking anyone with knowledge of Opoku’s recent residence or whereabouts to contact them at (609) 882-2000 ext. 2538.
