Troopers Capture Errick Young
Wanted For Murder of Commercial Township Man
Clementon, P.A. - On Tuesday, April 9, 2014, the New Jersey State Police Fugitive Unit, and the
United States Marshal’s Task Force captured Errick Young, 20, of Millville, N.J., ending the nearly month-long
search for the man charged with the March 22 murder of Benjamin Broughton.
Detectives obtained information that Young was hiding in an apartment building located at 1341 Blackwood Clementon
Road, Clementon, N.J. When detectives arrived, Young attempted to flee by exiting through a second floor window.
He was subsequently captured inside of the apartment without incident.
Young was lodged in the Cumberland County Jail on $1,000,000 full cash bail.
All charges are mere accusations and the suspect is considered innocent until proven guilty.
