State Police Recover Infant’s Remains at Recycling Facility
Farmingdale Boro, N.J. - The New Jersey State Police are seeking the public’s help locating the mother of a
female infant whose remains were found by an employee moving trash at a recycling facility. On Tuesday, November 11,
at approximately 1:30 p.m., troopers from Hamilton Station responded to ReCommunity Recycling facility on Railroad
Avenue where they confirmed the discovery.
Blood stained clothing was located in close proximity to the body. Detectives hope that someone may recognize these
items in order to help identify the mother.
Members of the NJSP Major Crime Unit, Troop "C" Criminal Investigations Office, Crime Scene Investigation Central Unit,
Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, and Monmouth County Medical Examiner's Office responded to the facility to conduct
the investigation.
The infant was pronounced deceased at 3:31 p.m. and transported to the Middlesex County Medical Examiner's Office in
North Brunswick where an autopsy was performed on November 12.
