Michael Chau was Executive Director of Far East Marketing at an Atlantic City casino hotel. On March 16, 2004, Mr. Chau was arrested for Conspiracy to Transport Individuals in Furtherance of Prostitution and Interstate Travel in Aid of Racketeering. Mr. Chau was charged with conspiracy "to recruit and transport young Asian women to engage in prostitution at various casinos in Atlantic City." In addition, Mr. Chau was charged with arranging prostitution services for his casino customers. On January 21, 2005, Mr. Chau pled guilty to Interstate Travel in Aid of Racketeering. On June 20, 2005, Mr. Chau was sentenced and placed on probation for one (1) year and fined $2,000. |
