On
December 27, 1980, Jerry D. Criner used a mechanical device, to
wit, a "yo-yo", to obtain free handle pulls on the slot
machines at Harrah's Casino. Complaint Number W 619310 was signed
charging defendant with violation of N.J.S.A. 5:12-113 and 5:12-114-b2.
On April 24, 1981, defendant Jerry Criner pleaded guilty to the
downgraded charge of cheating and swindling in an amount under $25
in the Atlantic City Municipal Court. Honorable Gennaro Consalvo,
J.M.C. sentenced Mr. Criner to pay a fine of $100 plus $25 cost
of court.
