Wong
was identified in the February 1988 U.S. Dept. of Justice's Report
on Asian Organized Crime as the head of the Tung On Organization
and the Tung On Gang, which gang is estimated to have 30 members
in New York City with branches in Philadelphia, PA and Portland,
ME, and is involved in gambling, extortion, at least five homicides
and a pattern of heroin trafficking; Wong is one of the crime leaders
who control the booking and handling of entertainers from the Far
East, including those appearing in Atlantic City; Wong is an associate
of Peter Chan who was indicted for paying kickbacks in connection
with Chan's Atlantic City casino bus business. |
