Letter to the Executive Director #1

Dear Executive Director,

This is R. D., resident at the Campus “Drug Treatment” Program. I wrote to thank you for allowing us to go to Iced Tea Lake and give us time out of our time to enjoy ourselves. It gave me a chance to realize how much fun I can have without the drugs or the lifestyle. In the program, we have small issues, but that is bound to happen in a house full of boys, but at the lake
it felt as if I was surrounded by brothers. We had a great time, so I want to know if we can relive that experience before the summer is over. I want to thank you again and I really appreciate you taking time to read these words.

Sincerely yours,
R. D.

Letter to the Executive Director #2

Dear Executive Director,

My name is J. W. I’m a resident at the Blackwood Residential program Campus. I have been going to this program for about a month and a half. Last week, on the 19th of July we had a group trip to a lake in Atlantic County, they call it the tea lake.

When we went on that trip that was the most fun I’ve had in about 10 months - not just because I’ve been locked up, but for the past 3-4 years its been the most fun I actually had with out using drugs or alcohol. The main reason I liked this trip so much is because I can remember everything that went on that day. All the staff and residents put all their problems aside that day and just had fun. I mainly appreciate these opportunities because this program is giving me the chance to realize how much fun I can actually have without drugs. I think these trips are a good opportunity for us to just relax and have fun, and just see how life should be without all the headaches and drama. I hope this letter helps you get a better understanding of your residents as this program gave me better opportunities for my life.

Sincerely,
J. W.
