of Criminal Justice to Announce Official
Opening of Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s
Office in Cape May County -
Medical Examiner to Maximize Resources at
Woodbine Developmental Center - Criminal
Justice to Donate Confiscated Toys to Foster
Children

What:
The Division of Criminal Justice will
announce the official opening of the Southern
Regional Medical Examiner’s Office
(SRMEO) at the Woodbine Developmental
Center located in Cape May County. The
Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s
Office provides autopsy and related services
to law enforcement in Cape May and Cumberland
Counties.
Division of Criminal Justice Director
Vaughn L. McKoy, along with representatives
from the Department of Human Services
(DHS), and county and municipal government
and law enforcement agencies will participate
in the opening. As part of the opening
program, the Division of Criminal Justice
will donate more than 1,000 “Lil
Chef Kitchen” toy sets to DHS for
distribution to foster homes and related
DHS child-service programs. The toy sets
were confiscated as part of a criminal
investigation targeting stolen merchandise.

for approximately one mile to Woodbine-Ocean
View Road (Route 550)...

Route 550 for approximately six miles...

passing under a train trestle... Turn
left on to Fidler Hill Road and then
make a quick right onto DeHirsch

Avenue.
Travel approximately 6/10 of a mile.
The Administration Building is a one
story red brick structure just inside
the gate.

(US 30) to the town of Egg Harbor...

right on Route 50 to Tuckahoe...
