Trenton
– The Governor’s Teen Driver
Study Commission is asking members of the
public to share their thoughts and ideas
on what can be done to improve teen driving
safety in New Jersey at a series of three
public hearings scheduled to be held throughout
the state. Charged with assessing the state
of teen driving in New Jersey, and making
recommendations to reduce motor vehicle
tragedies involving young drivers on our
roadways, the Commission will hold hearings
in the northern, central and southern regions
of the State in November and December. Input
from the public will be considered by the
15-member commission, which will issue a
report in early spring detailing recommendations
for reducing teen crashes and ultimately
saving lives.
