The Attorney General oversees the Department of Law & Public Safety with the support of his executive leadership team. The team advises the Attorney General on legal, policy, and administrative matters and assists with the day-to-day supervision of the Department’s divisions and initiatives.
Jeremy Feigenbaum is the State Solicitor. In that role, Jeremy helps coordinate the Attorney General’s involvement in matters before the U.S. Supreme Court, federal circuit courts, and the New Jersey Supreme Court, and provides assistance to the Department in cases involving significant constitutional and appellate issues. Jeremy previously served as Counsel to Attorney General Grewal. Before joining the Office of the Attorney General, Jeremy was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis in New York. He has also served as an adjunct professor at New York University School of Law. He clerked for Judge William Fletcher of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Justice Elena Kagan of the U.S. Supreme Court. Jeremy graduated from Brown University and Harvard Law School.
