New Jersey has an annual source of money that’s dedicated to addressing climate change. We want to know how YOU think New Jersey should invest this public money in projects that reduce emissions, provide clean energy, and increase equity across the state. What climate-change solutions are most important to you? What are the most important and pressing solutions for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the state? To better understand what types of climate change-fighting projects and programs New Jersey community members believe should be the highest priority, three New Jersey State agencies (Department of Environmental Protection, Economic Development Authority, and the Board of Public Utilities) will collect your preferences and input on possible solutions through this interactive online tool.

The climate change solutions that receive the most votes will be given priority consideration when the agencies write a draft of the RGGI Strategic Funding Plan which dictates how the public dollars will be spent over the three-year period (2023-2025). The agencies will then hold a series of public meetings in the fall to gather public feedback and input on the draft plan that the ideas you submit here will help create.
