The missing or alienated original documents listed below are public records of the State of New Jersey as defined by New Jersey Statutes 47:3-16 and subject to legal demand and recovery under 47:3-27 & 28. Be advised that New Jersey State Archives has reported the theft of these and other documents to the New Jersey State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). This list and similar postings are not intended to represent the entirety of missing public documents of the State of New Jersey and its subdivisions. Further, this list and similar postings are not intended to necessarily represent the entirety of documents missing from specific record groups.

14 June 1780 An Act to complete the three Regiments of this State, in the Service of the United States, and to raise to Company of Volunteers for the Defence of Part of the County of Monmouth.

19 June 1780 An Act to suspend the Act declaring the Value of the Continental Currency, and also the Act making the same a legal Tender, and the Supplement thereto.

29 September 1780 A Supplemental Act to the Act, intitled, An Act for establishing a Fund for sinking and redeeming the Proportion of the Bills of Credit of the United States, assigned as the Quota of this State.

6 October 1780 An Act to amend the Act, intitled, "An Act to provide for the payment of the several Officers of the Government of the State of New-Jersey, to commence the thirteenth Day of October, One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy-nine, and to end the second Tuesday in October, One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty, inclusive, and to discharge the publick Debts and other contingent Charges thereof; and to augment and alter the Salaries allowed by Law to the Superintendent of Purchases, to the Auditor of Accounts, and to the Secretary of this State.

7 October 1780 An Act to continue an Act, intitled, An Act to suspend the Act declaring the Value of the Continental Currency, and also the Act making the same a legal Tender, and the Supplement thereto.

26 December 1780 An Act to raise, by voluntary Enlistment, eight hundred and twenty Men, for the Defence of the Frontiers of this State.

5 January 1781 An Act to ascertain the Value of the Continental Currency in the Payment of Debts.

25 May 1781 An Act to declare and ascertain the Privileges of the Subjects of His Most Christian Majesty, residing within this State.

5 June 1781 An Act to preserve the Buildings in this State belonging to the United States, from being destroyed, and for the Punishment of those that shall seize or injure the same.

9 June 1781 An Act to alter Part of an Act, intitled, An Act to raise a Fund by Loan, for discharging the Bounty to be paid to the Troops required by Congress as the Quota of this State.
