NJDOT is changing to new phone numbers Public advised to update contacts with the new (609) 963-xxxx numbers

(Trenton) -New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced it is changing the Department phone numbers from the existing (609) 530-xxxx exchange to a new exchange: (609) 963-xxxx numbers.

The new 963-xxxx numbers will be active starting immediately. However, the old 530-xxxx numbers will remain active for a year with a message providing the new 963-xxxx number.

The change of numbers is part of the Department’s ongoing commitment to have modern, more cost effective equipment and systems in order to provide excellent customer service to those doing business with NJDOT. By collaborating with the New Jersey Office of Information Technology (NJOIT), NJDOT has implemented a new Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) system at the NJDOT’s Ewing campus and its Mount Arlington and Cherry Hill offices.
