SPECIAL NOTE to recent Small- and Small-Mid Cap Domestic Equity search candidates: You may be aware that there has been a recent New Jersey State Appellate Division ruling relating to the Division of Investment and its authority to contract with external separate account managers. We are in the process of working with the State Attorney General's office to determine the implications of this ruling and to develop an appropriate action plan. As a result, the Small/SMID Cap Domestic Equity search is on hold indefinitely. We will follow up with you as this situation unfolds. IMPORTANT NOTICE
Businesses that wish to provide services to New Jersey's Division of Investment, as well as all state agencies and independent authorities, must adhere to strict guidelines regarding political contributions.
Public Law 2005, c. 51, which was signed into law on March 22, 2005, details these restrictions and reporting requirements. In addition, the State Investment Council periodically provides clarification to contribution policies covered by its regulations in the New Jersey Administrative Code (N.J.A.C. 17:16-4)
Firms interested in doing business with the Division of Investment should review the law and regulations to ensure that they will be eligible.
