New Jersey Department of Human Services -- Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD)
Housing subsidies funded through DDD are available to eligible individuals and distributed through the Supportive Housing Connection. Individuals who receive a DDD rental subsidy are required to contribute a certain amount of their income toward rent. The remaining rent amount is paid directly to the provider or landlord. Subsidy amounts are subject to State-determined maximums by county or zip code.
Questions about DDD housing subsidies may be sent to DDD.HousingSubsidy@dhs.nj.gov.
New Jersey Department of Community Affairs -- Division of Housing and Community Resources
The Division provides housing supports through a variety of programs, including the Section 8 housing vouchers (federal) and the State Rental Assistance Program.
