Dependent Eligibility Verification Audit

In order to ensure continued quality and affordability of health benefits coverage, the NJDPB contracted with Alight Dependent Verification Services to process a Dependent Eligibility Verification Audit (DEVA) for certain members of the SHBP/SEHBP.

The deadline to submit all required documents to Alight was March 29, 2019. Final Results communications were mailed to members in April and they were given until July 31, 2019 to appeal those results by submitting the proper DEVA documentation for retroactive reinstatement. At this time, members can still appeal the Final Results of the DEVA, however, they must file an Appeal Form with Alight Claims and Appeals Management.
