Opportunity to sublease property at the New Jersey Wind Port
sublease to start mid-2023
The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) is pleased to announce the launch of its tenant selection process for the first property at the New Jersey Wind Port (NJWP).
The NJWP is the nation’s first purpose-built greenfield port dedicated to offshore wind, currently under development. Located on the Delaware River in Southern New Jersey, the Port is situated at the geographical center of the United States’ burgeoning OSW sector and within a day’s steaming distance to more than 50 percent of U.S. offshore wind lease areas.
NJEDA is inviting non-binding offers to sublease an approximately 30-acre parcel (“Parcel A”) purpose-built for component marshalling. Under current Port designs, the parcel is adjacent to an approximately 1,400 linear feet Wharf and heavy-lift area with heavy weight bearing capacity.
A minimum sublease term of 12 months and maximum term of 24 months applies, with extensions permitted only under certain conditions (full details are included in the Notice to sublease).
Non-binding offers are due no later than 1:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time, Friday, December 4, 2020.
