Preserved Farm Owners: Grants and Support are Available
The State Agriculture Development Committee and staff appreciate landowners who dedicated their land to agriculture forever! New Jersey’s past, present, and future depend on the choice to preserve land and keep the garden in the Garden State.
We realize farming is not just an occupation – it’s a lifetime’s passion. To be a good steward of the land and to feed and sustain the world, we recognize that preserving the land is only the first step and sustaining the ag industry is the necessary next step.

The SADC coordinates in-person, remote, and hybrid meeting options.
Examples of Right to Farm/Farmer-Neighbor issues include water runoff, equipment storage, firewood processing, farm building construction, land clearing, dumping, land clearing, fencing, conflicts with local ordinances, on-farm direct marketing activities and events, and farm access.
