The State Park Pass

The State Park Pass is available for $50, providing free entrance for one calendar year to the state parks and forests facilities that charge daily walk-in or parking fees. If you are a frequent visitor to the state parks, the purchase of the State Park Pass can mean a substantial savings over the payment of daily walk-in or parking fees. The pass does not cover camping fees or guarantee entry when facilities are filled to capacity or for special events.

A second family vehicle pass may be purchased at the cost of $25.00 at any time during the year. The second family vehicle pass can only be purschased at the State Park office location where the initial pass was purchased. The vehicle on which the second pass will be placed must have the same registration address as appears on the initial pass application.

Applications are available by contacting the Division of Parks & Forestry at (800) 843-6420 or (609) 984-0370 or on-line:

Official T-Shirt of the battle of monmouth
225th Anniversary of the Battle of Monmouth

This year Monmouth Battlefield State Park celebrated the 225th Anniversary of the Battle of Monmouth. On June 28 & 29 over 20,000 spectators witnessed the largest land artillery battle of the American Revolution, as over 2,400 period reenactors recreated the 1778 Battle of Monmouth.

The sale of the Official T-shirts helped to support the costs of this event and Monmouth Battlefield State Park. Due to requests, we will continue to offer the shirts for sale. The t-shirts are tan 100% pre-shrunk cotton. Adult sizes only - available in M, L, XL.

In recognition of our yearlong Centennial celebration, DEP is offering a limited edition keepsake box, mug, ornament and a special historical postcard collection beginning with the Indian King Tavern. (click on the images for larger photos of the items)
