Robert Tudor

Bob Tudor was appointed Deputy Executive Director of the Delaware River Basin Commission on October 1, 2001. He is responsible for management of the agency's scientific, regulatory, planning and management activities, and programs. Directorate responsibilities also include oversight of annual budget of $5.6 million and 42 full-time employees - primarily engineers, planners, geologists, environmental scientists, and biologists.

Prior to joining DRBC, Mr. Tudor served more than twenty years, in several capacities, with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. As Deputy Commissioner, Bob oversaw Planning and Science, Land Use Management, and Historic Resources functions. Bob was Administrator of the Office of Environmental Planning from 1996 to 1998, served as Program Director for the Delaware Estuary Program from 1993 to 1995, and prior to that had been Administrator of the Land Use Regulation Program.

In April 2012, Mr. Tudor received the Samuel S. Baxter Memorial Award from the Water Resources Association of the Delaware River Basin for his many accomplishments over a multi-decade career. Click here to learn more.

A graduate of Rutgers College and the University of Connecticut, Bob resides in southern New Jersey.
