On December 20, 2010, the AWC Companies a/k/a Atlantic Wind filed a petition for declaratory order seeking FERC approval of a set of transmission rate incentives for a high voltage direct current ("HVDC") subsea offshore transmission line. The line is to be constructed off the coasts of NJ, DE, MD & VA with related interconnections with the existing land-based transmission system in each of those states.

Petition of Public Service Electric and Gas Company for a Determination Pursuant to the Provisions of N.J.S.A. 40:55D-19 (Susquehanna-Roseland), BPU Docket No. EM09010035

On January 12, 2009, PSE&G filed a Petition with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities seeking a determination that their proposed 500,000 volt Susquehanna-Roseland transmission system upgrade is "reasonably necessary for the service, convenience or welfare of the public" and that the Municipal Land Use Ordinances of the affected municipalities shall not apply to the project.
