To get to your Inspection Task List—
● In My Workspace, click Inspection To-Do List.
Your Inspection To-Do List will display all of the inspection tasks assigned to you that are due within 30 days.
● OPTIONAL: To filter the list (to make it shorter and more manageable)—
– Enter and/or select criteria.
– Click Filter Results.
● For information about what needs to be inspected at the property, click the View Inspection Details icon for the desired task
● At the Inspection Task Details screen, click the View In Progress button to see if any inspections are currently being conducted at the property.
● Click Return to get back to the Inspection To-Do List.
● Click the Conduct Inspection icon (far right of the row) for the desired task.
● In the In Progress/Pending Inspections
screen, click the radio button
to select the desired property (Program Interest).
● To verify and/or change Registration information, click the Update Registration button.
● Review and change (if necessary)—
– Buildings
– Units in a building
– Contacts
(If the ownership has changed, stop this procedure and process a Transfer Registration.)
● If you have modified the registration information, click Record Results at the bottom of the Property Information screen.
● At the Recorded Inspection Results - Task Summary Information screen, click the Record Results button.
● You may want to narrow down the inspection tasks at the facility to a specific building, floor, etc.
– Select criteria to filter the inspection list.
– Click Filter.
● To write a violation against a subject item (or a group of subject items with the same violation)—
– Select its radio button (or select the radio buttons of all the subject items with the same violation)
– Choose Violation in the Subject Item Status pull down list at the bottom left of the screen.
● Click Continue.
● In the Record Inspection Results - Record Requirements and Corrective Actions screen—
– Identify the type of violation
– Click Search.
● Select the
appropriate Requirement from the
search results by clicking its radio button .
● Select the appropriate Corrective Action.
● Click Continue.
● Enter the appropriate Violation Details.
● Click Record Result.
You will be brought back to the Recorded Inspection Results, Task Summary Information screen.
● Follow the directions above to record additional violations.
● To record "No Violations" for subject items, select the appropriate radio button(s).
● Change the subject items' status to No Violations.
● Click Continue.
● If you don’t need to upload any documents, click Continue and skip this step.
● To upload (attach) documents—
– Enter the Attachment Name and other relevant information.
– Click Browse on the Attachment Upload screen.
– When the File Upload window opens up, select the desired document.
– Click Open.
– Click Upload on the Attachment Upload screen.
● When you have uploaded all the desired documents, click Save.
● When all subject items have been inspected, click Continue.
● On the Record Inspection Results - Identify Subject Items screen, enter the inspection start and end dates and times.
● Click Continue.
● Review the inspected results on the Lead Inspector Review page.
● When you have verified all results, click Continue.
● Click the Certification Ribbon to certify the results. At this point, the inspection results cannot be changed.
● Enter your certification PIN on the Certification screen
● Click Certify.
● Click Continue.
● Review the submission details Submittal Confirmation screen and click Return.
You will be brought back to the Inspection To-Do List.
