Fair, Isaac and Co. Comprehensive site on consumer credit information. This company calculates an individual's credit risk, which is then used by credit agencies in determining your credit score.

Federal Trade Commission (FTC)

The federal agency responsible for overseeing the credit agencies. The FTC offers a comprehensive consumer credit information web site. You can also order copies of FTC materials by calling toll-free 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357).

New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education (NJCFE) The goal of the New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education is to improve the personal financial literacy of New Jersey's citizens by promoting the teaching of personal finance to people of all ages. The Coalition believes that all citizens of New Jersey must have the financial literacy necessary to make informed financial decisions.
