Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 17:27A–2d and N.J.A.C. 11:1–35.6, a hearing (“Hearing”) will be held to consider the Form A Statement (the “Form A”) regarding the proposed acquisition of control by Conning & Company, a Connecticut corporation, Conning Holdings Corp., a Delaware corporation, Conning U.S. Holdings, Inc., a Delaware corporation, and Conning Holdings Limited, a private limited company organized under UK law (collectively, the “Applicants”) of Reciprocal Management Corporation, Inc., a New Jersey corporation (“RMC”). RMC serves as attorney–in–fact for Citizens United Reciprocal Exchange, a New Jersey domiciled reciprocal inter-insurance exchange that issues private passenger automobile liability and auto physical damage insurance policies (“CURE”). RMC directly controls and manages CURE’s operations.
The Form A was filed by the Applicants with the Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance pursuant to N.J.S.A. 17:27A–2a. In accordance with N.J.A.C. 11:1–35.6(g), the hearing shall be conducted on the documents filed. The publication date of this notice is September 17, 2025. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 11:1–35.6(f)(1), the scheduled date of the Hearing shall be seven (7) days after the publication of this notice. Therefore, the date of the Hearing is September 24, 2025.
