New Jersey Department of Education

Gifted and Talented - Remote Learning Resources

The New Jersey’s Department of Education has partnered with the New Jersey Association for Gifted Children (NJAGC) to provide educators, parents and students recommended resources for gifted and talented (GT) and twice exceptional students during this sudden shift from classroom to virtual learning. NJAGC advises parents to preview resources before using with their children. Educators and parents are also encouraged to explore the array of resources for Educators & Parents During COVID-19 provided by the National Association of Gifted Children

While gifted students are no more anxious than the general population, these uncertain times can cause anxiety and worry, especially when there are fewer intellectual pursuits in a day.  The Department has assembled strategies and resources for educators and parents to support the emotional well-being of children during this time.
