Office of the Secretary of Higher EducationAs our state works toward establishing the forthcoming Workforce Pell program, NJ OSHE and NJ DOL are seeking to better understand institutional capacity and readiness for potential participation. As part of the planning process, OSHE distributed an email on February 2, 2026 with the subject "Initial Scan of Provider Training Programs" to all institution presidents.
We ask that you distribute this survey to the individual(s) at your institution that are most familiar with short-term, career-focused non-degree training programs (hereafter referred to as 'training programs'). We have extended the deadline for response to Monday, February 23, 2025. We greatly appreciate your input. Responses do not need to be exhaustive or final, as the State is seeking a preliminary understanding of what programmatic information is available and best institutional contacts for Workforce Pell moving forward.
