On Monday, June 29, US ED announced a final Student Tuition and Transparency System (STATS) and Earnings Accountability Rule. On Monday, June 29, US ED released an electronic announcement of update to list of professional degree programs (CIP codes) due to court order. The court case was over the final rule for the professional degree definition in the Reimagining and Improving Student Education (RISE) final rule. The electronic announcement includes additional background information, the interim list of programs treated as granting professional degrees, programs not treated as programs granting professional degrees and institutional reporting guidance.
