The Office of the Secretary of Higher Education, in partnership with the New Jersey Higher Education Mental Health Summit Committee, is looking for 20 students to be a part of a Student Well-Being Roundtable. The event will take place virtually on November 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. The theme, “Centering the Student Voice: Student Perspectives on Well-Being, Inclusion, and Mental Health,” will allow students to be in the driver seat related to their well-being.
The Office requests for institutions to share this broadcast along to selected students. As the Committee desires representation throughout the State, students are to submit in 1,000-words or less, what well-being, inclusion, and mental health means on a college campus. Students should express why they wish to be on the Roundtable and represent their institution.
Additionally, students are requested to state what creates inclusion on a college campus in 500-words or less.
Students can submit their application here.
The priority deadline to apply is October 21, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Applications will be accepted until October 28, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. and reviewed on a rolling basis.
