How can I eat healthy on a low budget?
Here are some places you can find tips to help you prepare healthy meals on a low budget:

NJ SNAP-Ed: NJ's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education and Support Networks

You may be eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC ), which is a special federal and state tax benefit for individuals and families who earned less than $51,567 from wages - whether it's full-time, part-time or self-employment. This tax credit may reduce the amount of taxes you owe, or provide you with a refund, even if you don't owe any taxes. Workers who saw their earnings drop in 2012 may qualify for the first time. Income, age and the number of qualifying children determine the amount of the credit, which can be up to $7,252 (for combined state and federal). Workers without children also may qualify. For more information visit www.njeitc.org.
