The Health and Human Services Section provides
legal counsel and representation to the Department
of Human Services, Department of Health and Senior
Services. The work of the section includes administrative
litigation regarding Medicaid issues, penalties
against health care providers, aid eligibility,
and license certification denials and revocations.
Section attorneys defend the departments in appeals
of their administrative actions. Counsel is also
provided with respect to administrative decision
making.
