2022 was a productive and impactful year for the New Jersey Office of State Comptroller. In total, OSC released 19 reports, uncovering waste and abuse in municipalities, school districts and other entities in New Jersey.

An OSC report, for instance, found that the lowest-rated nursing homes in New Jersey had received more than $103 million in Medicaid funding. Another report exposed the widespread abuse of sick leave payments by towns in NJ.
