Friday, June 30^th, was a truly historic day for our office. The Governor signed legislation eliminating fees for our clients and reestablishing a parole revocation unit. He also signed a budget that allows us to raise our pool attorney rate to $100 per hour. Finally, the State Senate confirmed the nomination of Mike Noriega to the Supreme Court, the first public defender to achieve that position.
