The SPIRIT of the JERSEYS State History Fair would not be possible without the support and assistance of many individuals and organizations. Their support has contributed greatly to the Fair's success and we are appreciative of all their efforts.

Battleview Orchards Since 1908, Battleview Orchards farm and Country Store have been owned and operated by the Applegate Family.  The farm allows the public the opportunity to pick their own NJ Strawberries, Sour Cherries, NJ Peaches, Nectarines, NJ Apples, and Pumpkins. The Country Store is open all year. It features their own Fresh Pressed Cider & famous Apple Cider Donuts, along with quality fresh fruits & vegetables. Battleview Orchards is generously providing morning refreshments for the Fair’s exhibitors.

Friends of Monmouth Battlefield was formed in 1990 and is a 501 (c)(3) not-for -profit organization devoted to preserving, protecting and historically interpreting Monmouth Battlefield and historically related sites. The Friends will be assisting the State with operational issues for the 2017 NJ State History Fair. www.friendsofmonmouth.org

Monmouth County Park System  –From beaches to playgrounds to historic sites, the Monmouth County Park System has facilities to suit the needs and pleasures of all residents of Monmouth County. No matter what the season, winter through fall, there's always something available. The Parks System offers areas available for recreation, exercise, nature, and relaxation to visitors of all ages looking for enjoyment outdoors. The Park System has generously offered to provide a tent for the Fair’s programming activities.  Additionally, two of their historic sites, Longstreet Farm and Historic Walnford, will be represented at the Fair providing an interactive activity for the public. www.monmouthcountyparks.com

Trap Rock Industries LLC— has generously offered to provide seating for visitors to the Fair’s Hay Bale Theatres.  Trap Rock’s demanding quality control systems ensure consistent aggregate sizes from stone screening to riprap. Their asphalt plants produce only NJDOT approved hot mix asphalt.

Walt Whitman Association was originally founded as a group of Whitman friends and supportersduring the author’s life in Camden. The Walt Whitman Association is the oldest existing Whitman society in the world. Its mission is to support the preservation of his home in Camden and to promote the life works and legacy of America’s “Great Poet of Democracy”. The Association continues its support of the NJ State History Fair by sponsoring Mr. Darrel Blaine Ford as Walt Whitman.
