The 40th New Jersey Mission of Honor ceremony was held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery on May 27, 2026. The cremains of World War II Army Veteran’s Raymond J. Bauman, Timothy G. Dyas, John C. Fellows, Kenneth J. McGowan, Harold R. Nestler, and Joseph Pascale; World War II Navy Veteran’s Harvey S. Brooks, Harry Cohen, Louis Howson, and Francis L. New Jersey Mission of Honor’s mission is to identify, retrieve, and inter the Veterans’ cremains. Since 2007, 730 Veterans have been located, and 378 cremains have been reunited with their families. For more information, please visit njsmissionofhonor.org.
