Menlo Park Employees Recognized for Service to Veterans

On June 29, the Veterans Memorial Home at Menlo Park held a "Years of Service" award ceremony to recognize more than 25 staff members for their time and dedication to bettering the lives of residents at the home. Employees received awards for five, ten, and twenty years of service.

Deputy Commissioner Esther Chucaralao attended the ceremony. In her remarks, she recognized the nearly seven months since the transformation of the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs into the newly formed Department of Veterans Affairs. The new structure offers a more focused approach to support Veterans, family members, and Gold Star families. The Menlo Park team is at the forefront of that mission.
