On September 9, Deputy Commissioner Esther Chucaralao attended the 41st New Jersey Mission of Honor ceremony at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown.

The ceremony honored the interment of the cremains of World War II Army Veterans Edward K. Funkhouser and Charles L. Hink; World War II Marine Corps Veteran James Evanik; Korean War Army Veterans Clyde H. Allison, Stuart S. Gutman, Ronald J. Rosen, and John A. Wilmer; Vietnam War Army Veteran Robert J. Coady; U.S. Coast Guard Veteran Herbert G. Adrian, Jr.; and U.S. Army Veteran Julius J. Fekete.

NJMOH’s mission is to identify, retrieve, and inter veterans’ cremains. Since 2007, over 700 veterans have been located, and over 300 cremains have been reunited with their families.
