Virtual Guided Tour of the Majdanek Concentration and Death Camp
Located near Lublin, German-occupied Poland, Majdanek was a Nazi concentration and death camp that operated from 1941 to 1944. Approximately 78,000 people died at Majdanek, a symbol of Nazi brutality and genocide.
The virtual guided tour will explore the many original structures at Majdanek, one of the best preserved Nazi camps of World War II.
The mission of the Museum is to cultivate the memory and promote historical education about the German occupation in the Lublin region during World War II, particularly by means of commemorating the victims, preserving the relics and documenting the history of the concentration camp at Majdanek.
This is a private tour of the Majdanek Concentration Camp, conducted live by one of the museum's directors. The tour is approximately 90 minutes and includes a question-and-answer session. The tour must take place in the morning, as there is a 7-hour time difference.
