2014-2015 Suppression Rules

The 2014-2015 performance report database contains state- and district-level data. Student-level data is confidential in accordance with the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), is not to be made accessible to the public pursuant to the Open Public Records Act, and will not be released. Thus, data made available does not include anything personally identifiable to a student. The suppressed records are indicated by an asterisk (*) and follow the rules below:

  1. At the school-level and relevant subgroups for participation rate data, valid records that have n-size <= 30 are suppressed.

  2. At the school-level for achievement gap data, valid records that have n-size <= 10 are suppressed OR the average of students performed at levels 4 and 5 (met or exceeded expectations) is <= 10%.

  3. At the grade-level and relevant subgroups for overall performance data, valid records that have n-size <= 10 are suppressed OR the average of students performed at levels 4 and 5 (met or exceeded expectations) is <= 10%.

  4. At elementary and middle schools for student growth data, valid records that have n-size <= 20 are suppressed.

  5. At middle schools for Algebra I data, valid records that have n-size <= 10 are suppressed.

  6. At high schools for Career and College Readiness data, valid records that have n-size <= 10 are suppressed.

  7. At high schools for Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) data for eleventh grade ELA, valid records that have n-size <= 10 are suppressed.
