The School Funding Reform Act of 2008 (SFRA) was the first school funding formula deemed constitutional by the New Jersey Supreme Court for use by all school districts in the state. The SFRA was first funded in Fiscal Year 2009, and was later amended by P.L. 2018, c. 67 (S-2). This page provides data about the amount of state aid each district and county receives, as well as information related to the formula’s development and State aid calculations.
