Student Transportation provides guidance to school districts and contractors responsible for providing transportation services to the state’s public and nonpublic student populations.
Transportation Eligibility and Procedures
The aid in lieu of transportation (AIL) amount equals $1,177.00 or a daily rate of $6.54 ($1,177 divided by 180) for the 2025-2026 school year.
The Transportation Eligibility and Procedures section clarifies eligibility and provides procedures for all schools including schools other than Public; Charter and Renaissance, Choice and Nonpublic schools.
