At its March 11, 2004 public meeting, the Government Records Council (“Council”) considered the March 11, 2004 Findings and Recommendations of the Executive Director and all related documentation submitted by the parties. The Council voted unanimously to adopt the entirety of said Findings and Recommendations and to dismiss the complaint on the basis that the Complainant signed documentation on February 26, 2004 that he received the requested documents, and there is no cause of action needed by the Government Records Council.

Recommendations of Executive Director

The complainant was trying to obtain his prison medical records from 1985 through present.

The complainant has signed an Acknowledgement Form that states that he has received the requested documents.

The Executive Director respectfully recommends that the Council dismiss the case because the Complainant has signed documentation on February 26, 2004 that he received the requested documents, therefore there is no cause of action needed by the Government Records Council.
