Type of Administrative Closure: The Custodian certified that the records requested are not made, maintained, filed or received by the Department of Corrections. Therefore, the requested record is not a "Government Record" as defined by the Open Public Records Act (OPRA) and thus there was no denial of access pursuant to the OPRA.
Applicable OPRA Provision: Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1, a Government Record is, " ...made, maintained or kept on file....or that has been received in the course of his or its official business..."
