Resources from Spring Mental Health Virtual Convening with Uwill

On April 30, 2026, the New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education (OSHE) hosted its spring virtual Mental Health convening with Uwill.

The virtual event brought together various leaders to learn about mental health initiatives benefiting and supporting higher education around the state. The event featured presentations from guest speakers from the state as well as testimonials from various practitioners. Uwill shared progress over the past three years of the statewide tele-mental health partnership with information about student experiences and trends across campuses.

The convening included:

• Introduction and Welcome Remarks from Acting Secretary Margo Chaly
• Mental Health Initiatives Benefiting College Students across New Jersey: Department of Human Services, Department of Health, ReUp Education
• Uwill Three Year Data Review, Practitioner Experiences, and Student Feedback
• Closing Reflection and Meditation
