Helpline for Emotional Support
The NJ Department of Human Services’ Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services, in collaboration with the Mental Health Association in New Jersey, makes a valuable resource available to New Jerseyans in need of emotional support due to the coronavirus. The NJ Mental HealthCares Helpline is staffed by trained counselors ready to listen.

Helpline for Individuals who are deaf and/or hard of hearing
The NJ Department of Human Services’ Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services, in collaboration with the Division of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, is pleased to announce a videophone helpline for individuals who are deaf and/or hard of hearing to access emotional support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sign language users are able to communicate directly with our partners at ACCESS, of St. Joseph's Healthcare System in Paterson. Individuals who are deaf and/or hard of hearing can call 973-870-0677 VP, Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

ReachNJ is a 24-hour-a-day, 7 day-a-week addictions hotline where people who have Substance Use Disorder (SUD) or friends and family of people with SUD can get immediate assistance and support from live, New Jersey-based, trained addiction counselors.
An individual who calls the program’s toll-free number, 844-732-2465, will reach a live staff member who will help connect you to treatment.
ReachNJ will assist callers regardless of their insurance status.
