Following the establishment of our state Trauma Informed Care Work Group, the state hospitals formalized their own internal committees to address Trauma Informed Care. Each of our Hospitals has a plan for addressing trauma issues, and for communicating about trauma to staff and individuals receiving services. The New Jersey DMHAS website is available to all of the hospitals as a vehicle for posting trauma related information.
Ancora’s Corner is so named, and brought to us by the staff of Ancora Psychiatric Hospital’s Trauma Informed Care Committee.
