The Governor’s IIJA Office held an info session with the US Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), NJ Department of Transportation (NJDOT), and the New Jersey Metropolitan Planning Organizations about the FY23 guidance for FHWA’s Safe Streets and Roads for All Program. Recipients can be awarded up to $10M for Planning and Demonstration activities and up to $25M for Implementation grants. Applications are due by July 10, 2023.

The Governor’s Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) Office held a webinar with the US Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the NJ Department of Transportation (NJDOT) about USDOT’s Safe Streets and Roads for All Program. The program provides funds to municipalities for roadway safety planning and projects that will help meet the 2050 goal of zero deaths and serious injuries. Awards provide up to $1M for Action Plan proposals and up to $30M for Implementation Plan proposals. This is an annual IIJA program; Year 1 applications were due September 15th.

The IIJA Office hosted webinar with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the NJ Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) on how IIJA funding is being dispersed and utilized to improve water infrastructure in New Jersey through the Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Programs (Water Bank).
