Irene Crespo is a Business Advocate for the New Jersey Business Action Center (NJBAC).  Irene has served the state’s business community for 18 years demonstrating a sound commitment to NJBAC’s core mission to help create and retain jobs while encouraging private capital investment in the Garden State.

Irene serves as project manager for retention and expansion projects and her responsibilities include: coordinating state, local and federal business assistance and incentive programs; providing commercial real estate site selection services; guiding companies on regulatory and permitting matters; management of public-private partnerships as they pertain to projects and encouraging foreign-based firms to invest in New Jersey.

Irene’s prior roles include working for the Office of International Business Development and Protocol and holding numerous lead positions at Nippon Steel and Duferco Steel.
